Most are also members of the New Jersey State Society of Anesthesiologists and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Learn more about our physician team.
We established an urgent care facility, University Health and Urgent Care, in Passaic County in 2019. We did this because we strongly believe in providing a comprehensive approach to patient care. This facility provides individuals with a one-stop medical practice. Patients can be diagnosed and treated appropriately, and receive quality referrals for surgical support, when needed.
Our Core Values
Committed to providing quality care in the most compassionate and responsible manner possible, the physicians and staff at APM all live by a set of core values that act as our moral compass in everything we do. The values we live by are:
Our History
APM was formed in 1993 when six of our physicians joined together to provide anesthesiology services to a northern NJ hospital. By 1998, we recognized a growing trend toward surgical care within ambulatory surgical centers (ASCs) and office-based practices, along with the need for dependable, high quality anesthesia and pain management services. Our diverse skills and training proved highly valuable to these practices who appreciate that we always make patient safety and satisfaction a priority, and work diligently to ensure a superior clinical outcome.
A few of our major achievements include:
In addition, APM has established perioperative anesthesia service divisions at nine ASCs plus new pain management centers at four ASCs in the past ten years. All of these centers are thriving. Being approached by these centers to set up their departments speaks to the exceptional reputation of our physicians and our practice.
