Xiaochuan Guo, MD

Dr. Guo is an attending anesthesiologist at Advanced Perioperative Medicine, P.A. (“APM”).

Dr. Guo has a diverse educational background. He received his medical degree in China and earned his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (Birmingham, AL). His medical training in the U.S. started with a preliminary year in General Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He finished his residency in Anesthesiology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where he served as the Chief Resident for Education.

Before joining APM, Dr. Guo worked in the Department of Anesthesiology at Bridgeport Hospital (Bridgeport, CT), Midstate Medical Center (Meriden, CT), Milford Hospital (Milford, CT), and St. Mary’s Hospital (Waterbury, CT).

He is ECFMG certified and Board-Certified in anesthesia by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He is licensed in New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut.

Dr. Guo is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and a past member of the American Anatomist Association and the Society for Neuroscience.
