Vara Annadanam, MD

Dr. Annadanam is an attending anesthesiologist and partner with Advanced Perioperative Medicine, P.A.

Previously, Dr. Annadanam was an attending anesthesiologist and pain management physician at PBI Regional Medical Center (formerly the General Hospital Center at Passaic) (Passaic, NJ).

A graduate of Andhra University (Visakhapatnam, India), Dr. Annadanam obtained her MBBS from Andhra Medical School (Visakhapatnam, India). She completed her rotating internship at King George Hospital (Visakhapatnam, India) followed by a residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology at AP University of Health Sciences (Vijayawada, India), and then continued on to complete an internship in internal medicine at Morristown Memorial Hospital (Morristown, NJ). She also spent time at the University Hospital of Brooklyn, Long Island College Hospital and Kings County Hospital Center (Brooklyn, NY), completing a residency in anesthesiology and fellowship in pain management.

She is board certified in anesthesia by the American Board of Anesthesiology and is board certified in pain management by the American Board of Anesthesiology in the Subspecialty of Pain Medicine.  She is licensed in New Jersey and New York.
